TraknProtect currently has a career opportunity for a DevOps engineer.

Job Overview

As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for managing and improving the communication between the operational and development sides of the software development process. Your primary duties will include deployment of product updates, locating production errors and issues and building integrations that enable rapid adoption of the TraknProtect Platform. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with our CTO and existing technical team to implement and enforce SOC policies and procedures as part of the daily engineering operations.

In this position, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Enhance the company’s IT infrastructure security protocols

• Identify manual processes that can be automated

• Maintain and improve the company’s cloud infrastructure

• Enforce policies and procedures and prepare for SOC audits

• Apply system updates and security patches as required

• Provide troubleshooting of production environments and integrations as needed

Qualifications:

• Passionate engineer with 3+ years of experience

• Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovate solutions

• Flexible and adaptable attitude disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments

• Experience working in and administering Linux environments

• Experience working in and administration of Microsoft Azure cloud platform

• Bonus for experience MQTT or HiveMQ brokers

• Working administration knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL

• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
