Job Overview

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment, you will work with our CTO and existing technical team to transform user stories and requirements into fully developed solutions.

In this position, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Serve as a developer for front-end web and mobile application development

• API development and integrations with third party vendors and partners

• Backend data processing and service development

• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels

Qualifications:

• Passionate coder with 5+ years of engineering & software development

• Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovate solutions

• Flexible and adaptable attitude disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments

• Excellent C#, .NET, .NET Core and Azure background and experience

• Experience working in and administering Linux enviroments

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS required

• Bonus for experience with Blazor, PHP, CodeIgniter, and MQTT or HiveMQ

• Mobile application development for iOS and Android. (Ionic Framework ideal)

• Working knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL

• Solid foundation in Computer Science with strong competencies in OOP, MVVM and TDD design patterns

• Hands on experience with Linux and Windows server systems

• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
