Interel and TraknProtect Announce Partnership for Staff Panic Alert & Asset Tracking Solutions

INTEREL, the award-winning provider of hospitality guest-room management solutions, and TraknProtect, the only real-time tracking, safety, and analytics software platform for back-of-house hotel operations, have partnered to enable TraknProtect alerts to be sent through the INTEREL connectBsmart™ IoT infrastructure.

With this partnership, hotels that are utilizing INTEREL for guest-room control and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions can add staff panic alerts and asset tracking through TraknProtect without adding an additional network to manage the TraknProtect system.  The staff panic alert system enables hoteliers to meet new requirements while avoiding the expense of duplicate networks.

Employee safety, and the ability to effectively signal for help in unfortunate situations, has been a growing issue in recent news. With the number of US cities mandating staff panic alerts in hotels steadily increasing, including New York, NY, Washington, DC, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, Miami Beach, FL, Las Vegas, NV, and statewide legislation introduced in California and Hawaii, hotels are seeking solutions in order to meet required standards.
